Thermoreflective paint for roofs.

Improves the energy balance of the roof surfaces, especially made of galvanised and/or aluminium sheets, ceramic tiles and tar boards.


Ready to uses dispersive, water-diluted paint dedicated to the decorative and protective painting of almost all roof substrates.

The presence of light microspheres in the form of vacuum nodules reduced the temperature of the roof surface. It also improves the heat balance of a building by reflecting the radiation from the painted surface.

Comprehensive painting with the HETTA TERMO line products allows obtaining saving in energy consumption of around 30%.

1. Substrate preparation
Painted surface should be carefully cleaned and dried. The remains of the old coatings should be removed using a stream of water under a pressure of approx. 150 bars. Places that have fungi, covered with mould, algae should be cleaned mechanically and disinfected with a biocidal agent, also considering the removal of the sources of their appearance. When painting the metal substrates, attention should be paid to already existing micro corrosion; then such surface should be carefully cleaned and protected with available anti-corrosion agent.

2. Painting
After the first layer has dried (approx.: 4-6 h), another one should be applied. Recommended thickness of the layer is 0.45 mm. Complete drying depends on the temperature.

3. Temperature
Application of HETTA THERMO D, to obtain the best coating, is recommended at a temperature from +15 to +25°C.
Product sensitive to low temperatures, store at a temperature from +5°C to +20°C in a place away from sunlight.

4. Output
Output for the double layer on tar board is 1-1.5 m²/l, and on other surfaces is 2-3 m²/l.

5. Colours
Primary HETTA THERMO D colour is white. It can be coloured with the available colouring pastes based on oxide pigments resistant to UV.



HETTA TERMO D creates on the painted surface a screen that reflects radiation is improving the insulation of the roof. In months with high insolation, the temperature differences under the roof coated with HETTA TERMO D may be lower up to 30°C compared to other roof surfaces. On the other hand, during the winter months, HETTA TERMO D protects against the loss of heat generated inside. That, in turn, translates into saving the energy spent on heating or cooling the building.
